Norwich midfielder Matty Pattison just wants to focus on playing football after the media furore over his drink-driving ban earlier this week.Pattison was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £2,300 after admitting to driving to training while still over the legal limit but has started both games since his arrest and has thanked manager Glenn Roeder for his support.

He told the Eastern Daily Press: "The one way to put it all behind you is with the football and just playing well.

"Obviously the manager wants us all to be professional and not be all out on the drink.

"I have had good support from the club from the manager, staff and players and the ovation I got from the fans when I came off against Colchester was a big moment for me.

"I'm a bit disappointed in the coverage but when you play football you are in the public eye and stuff like that is going to happen. You have to take it on the chin."
