Scott wants a 'predictable' team

Thu 03 Apr, 11:30 PM

Brentford manager Andy Scott has challenged his team to become "predictable" next season as a template for promotion from League Two.Scott saw Rochdale leave Griffin Park with a 2-0 win last weekend and despite admitting that he found Keith Hill's side boring, he believes that is the way to success.

He said: "I want my team to become predictable.

"Not from other teams' sake, but so that everyone in our team knows what the other players are going to do.

"Not to do something spectacular or something that will work one in 100 times.

"You saw it from Rochdale. It was bang-bang-bang, monotonous football but it got them a 2-0 win and that is what we need to do."
