Charlton will be without Darren Ambrose and Zheng Zhi and have fitness doubts over two other players ahead of Sunday's visit of Coventry.Midfielder Ambrose could miss the start of pre-season after undergoing a groin operation this week, and China international Zheng is also sidelined with a groin problem.
Widemen Lloyd Sam (thigh) and Jerome Thomas (hamstring) are struggling and will not be risked unless they are 100%.
Strike trio Svetoslav Todorov, Izale McLeod and Chris Dickson remain long-term absentees with knee injuries, and full-back Yassin Moutaouakil is suspended.
Teenagers Jonjo Shelvey and Scott Wagstaff made their debuts at Barnsley last week and could be joined in the squad by fellow youngsters Grant Basey, Aswad Thomas and Rashid Yussuff as well as Therry Racon, who has been recalled from his loan spell at Brighton.
Club stalwart Chris Powell could also get a run-out on what may be his last appearance for the Addicks.
