Foxes depleted for Stoke battle

Sat 03 May, 03:30 PM

Leicester boss Ian Holloway has a number of injury concerns ahead of his side's vital trip to Stoke in the Championship on Sunday.Defender Patrick Kisnorbo will be missing from the squad after suffering a serious cruciate ligament injury against Sheffield Wednesday.

It is feared the Australia international will be out for up to six months, meaning he will also miss the start of next season.

Midfielders Matt Oakley (foot) and Lee Hendrie (ankle) are doubtful while Stephen Clemence (heel operation), Levi Porter (cruciate ligament) and Elvis Hammond (knee) remain sidelined.

Holloway will be hoping his side can collect the three points they need to confirm their Championship safety, although defeat for fellow strugglers Southampton will assure survival regardless of their own result.

Kick-off at the Britannia Stadium is at 2pm.
