Hapless Hibs tailor made for Goodwillie

Dundee United striker David Goodwillie has revealed he loves playing against Hibernian because all of his league goals have come against the Easter Road side.

The youngster was the matchwinner in Saturday's 2-1 Clydesdale Bank Premier League victory in Leith, coming off the bench to score two minutes from time.

He said: "I have scored three goals in the SPL and they have all been against Hibs. We have been working with John Robertson (former Hearts striker) in training and he said that's all he did, scoring against Hibs."

He added: "I don't know what it is to be honest - it's probably just luck.

"The gaffer just said to me, 'Go on and see if you can get yourself a goal'.

"Thankfully, I did that for him.

"I thought Ian Murray had been carrying an injury and I thought to myself, 'I am going to get this before him'.

"I think he tried to bring me down but I just kept going, I got my shot away and thankfully it went in."
