Jackson reflects on campaign

Sun 03 May, 01:44 PM

Lincoln boss Peter Jackson reflected on a frustrating season after ending the campaign with another home defeat, the 2-0 loss to Aldershot.

The home side dominated the opening 20 minutes, but paid the penalty for missing a hatful of chances as John Grant and Scott Davies sealed the win for the Shots.

A disappointed Jackson admitted: "That game was probably the story of our season, we could have been two or three up by half-time, but we did not take our chances."

He added: "We were desperate to get a result and probably created enough chances to win two games, but we did not take them.

"That has been our problem this year, scoring goals at home."
