Preston defender Billy Jones will be reunited with his old Crewe team-mates after a pre-season friendly between the clubs was announced.The England Under-21 international will return to the Alexandra Stadium on Saturday August 2 (kick-off 3pm), a year after he moved to Deepdale in a deal that could eventually be worth up to £1million.

The game brings the number of warm-up fixtures so far announced by Preston to eight.

Clashes against Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Morecambe, Everton and Carlisle have already been arranged, plus two training matches organised against local opposition during a stint in Austria.
