Southend manager Steve Tilson has told striker Gary Hooper that he can leave the club after placing him on the transfer list.Despite signing a new 18-month deal in January, Hooper has fallen out of favour at Roots Hall and spent two months on loan at Hereford last season.
The 20-year-old scored 11 goals in 19 appearances at Edgar Street, but failed to replicate that form with the Shrimpers.
Hooper joins Matt Harrold, Richie Foran and Charlie MacDonald on the transfer list.
