Leeds United will reportedly face an asking price of £1million if they are to follow up on their interest in Celtic striker Derek Riordan. The 25-year-old forward is being strongly linked with a move to Elland Road, but the SPL champions are expected to hold out for a seven-figure sum this summer.
According to the Yorkshire Post, Leeds, who expressed an interest in Riordan in January, could well attempt to make a swoop with the Scotland international looking to end a disappointing spell at Parkhead, where he's rarely been given the chance to impress.
It is understood that Riordan would consider a move to Gary McAllister's side even though they failed in their bid to win promotion to the Championship.
