Chesterfield defender Phil Picken has agreed to sign a new two-year contract with the Saltergate club.The former Manchester United trainee, 22, has made 116 appearances since moving in August 2005.
Spireites boss Lee Richardson told the club's official website: "Phil is a highly valued member of the squad so I am delighted he has agreed to accept our offer of a new extended deal."
Fellow defender Janos Kovacs remains the only player to be offered a new contract yet to put pen to paper.
