Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of winger Kevin McLeod from League One newcomers Colchester United. The 27-year-old former QPR and Swansea wideman snubbed the offer of a new contract with the Us and has instead penned a two-year deal on the south coast.
The switch sees McLeod reunited with Seagulls boss Micky Adams, who had a brief spell as assistant-manager at Colchester last season.
"He's a left-winger with good pace, he can deliver crosses and he offers a goal threat too," said Adams.
"At this level he is going to be a terrific signing for us. He works hard, wants to improve and wants to get back to the Championship."
