Midfielder Lee Carsley has completed his move from Everton to Birmingham after passing a medical.
The 34-year-old Republic of Ireland international agreed a two-year deal at St Andrews last month after turning down a new contract at Goodison Park.
Birmingham-born Carsley, who has 38 caps to his name, joined the Toffees from Coventry in 2002 having previously played for Derby and Blackburn.
"My contract ran out at Everton and I was offered a new deal there but I felt it was time to move on," Carsley said when he decided to move in May.
"I wanted a new challenge and I didn't necessarily want to go to another Premier League club and struggle with them."
