Milan have denied that general manager Adriano Galliani was negotiating the sale of Kaka to Real Madrid during a visit to Spain.
Speculation has been mounting that the Brazilian playmaker will swap the San Siro for the Bernabeu following Florentino Perez's return as Real Madrid president.
But a statement read: "The general manager of the Rossoneri, Adriano Galliani, is in the city of Madrid exclusively for the investiture dinner of Florentino Perez, the new president of Real Madrid."
Reports on Tuesday evening in Spain claimed a deal had been agreed between the clubs during talks in the Spanish capital, with a fee of £56million quoted.
Earlier in the day however, Kaka, who turned down a move to Manchester City in January, claimed he wanted to stay at the San Siro.
"I'll say it for the last time. The last time. I don't want to leave Milan," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"In this period I prefer to remain silent because I don't want to be misunderstood. Or, worse still, to be used.
"To the millions of Milan supporters, I say that I have made my choice. I have said what I want to stay. Leave me in peace, please."
Kaka was the subject of a big-money bid from City in January but the audacious swoop failed, with the player insisting he had no desire to leave Milan.
Since then he has been linked with a move to Madrid and speculation increased still further as the return of Perez - who was in charge during the Spanish club's famous Galacticos era - grew ever more likely.

The 100 mill @ summer is not the problem now. KAKa never wanted to play in a small team like man city, If it was barca that offer such amount of money, i guess Kaka would have been among ( BARCELONA) the courrent europian champion in the world. May be he will go to (santiago bernabue) madrid.
Ajanta mostoles
madrid
Barcelona should try and sign kaka as it would be the best place for him to play football, they are best team in the world who play in the best league in the world.
Typical report from Spain about Real Madrid approach. Juice up everything and maybe can get what they want. Rather unethical approach.
Typical Madrid........when will they learn their time is over its now Barcelona's time to for Glory...
great journalism- say kaka moving, then next day say he isn't. Utterly pointless. By the way, I saw Jesus today. Tomorrow I will tell you that it wasn't him.

FFFFOOOORRRRZZZZAAAA KKKKAAAAKKKKAAAA
I think Kaka is a bit overrated. Clearly he's good, but I would not put him with the Messis, Ronaldos and Iniestas at this point.
I believe Kaka when he say's he wants to stay at Milan, the supporters want him to stay and why would Milan sell him for less than city was offering (why would they sell him period!) as for Real? The new president is talking it up up to look big, Real always do this in an attempt to unsettle players it works sometimes, look at Ronaldo. Its Ronaldo who will go I think, he wants to play there and he wants Real to spend the money on him not Kaka and I reckon Man U have had enough of him ( I have anyway, let him go so we don't have to watch the prat anymore). Chelsea ?? In your dreams lads, just like you dream of being a great club, will never happen....
56 million, makes the eyes water! Ridiculous!

for spanish press read at Marca and AS
Its getting stupid now with these 60 mil plus offers. They are players for goodness sake not collectors items.
check goal(dot)com
real madrid had already sign kaka. both italian (Sky Italia) and spanish press confirm this. check other website
Real Madrid are not an attractive club anymore, big names don't want to go there because they play rubbish football and can't compete with an old ageing squad.
Similar to Liverpool's days in the 90's?
