Derby are considering their next move in their efforts to sign Crewe defender John Brayford.

The Rams had an undisclosed offer for the right-back turned down by Crewe in January.

Brayford, 21, who worked under Nigel Clough at Burton, remains a transfer target for the Derby manager.

"Nothing is happening with John Brayford at the moment. We are considering which way to go with it," Rams chairman of football Adam Pearson told the Evening Telegraph.
