Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson has continued his preparation for the 2009/10 Championship campaign by announcing five friendlies.

Posh, who finished second to claim automatic promotion out of League One this term, will face non-league St Albans on Tuesday July 14 before playing two friendlies against Premier League clubs.

Aston Villa will visit London Road on Saturday July 18 before Ferguson's men host Tottenham three days later (July 21).

Peterborough will then travel to face Blue Square Premier duo Stevenage and Oxford on Tuesday July 28 and Saturday August 1 respectively.
