Hartlepool boss Chris Turner has targeted a further four new signings before he goes on holiday next Friday.

Turner, who has yet to be officially confirmed as the club`s manager, has already brought in Adam Boyd, Leon McSweeney and Peter Hartley this summer, and promised there are more to come.

He told the Hartlepool Mail: "We have got four players lined up and we are just waiting to get them completed.

"I go away a week on Friday and I would like them in by then. That has been the aim all along.

"They just keep getting delayed by one thing or another."
