Gunners urged to show love for Ad

Emmanuel Adebayor's agent has demanded Arsenal demonstrate their desire to keep the in-demand striker at Emirates Stadium.European giants Barcelona and AC Milan have made no secret of their interest in the Togo international after he struck 30 goals for the Gunners last term.

However, manager Arsene Wenger is reluctant to allow Adebayor to depart the club he joined from Monaco in 2006, with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani stating on Wednesday that it is 'impossible' for the Serie A side to meet Arsenal's valuation of the player.

Adebayor's agent, though, feels it is key that Arsenal strongly indicate they are eager to hold on to the 24-year-old, who Stephane Courbis claims has not demanded an increase in wages at Emirates Stadium.

"It is vital that Arsenal show their motivation to keep him," agent Courbis said in the Daily Star.

"There has been a love story between Adebayor and Arsenal and his relationship with Arsene Wenger is based on trust and respect.

"If this was a money problem, then he would have asked to leave. He is a man of heart, not of money. He is not greedy."

I agree with cob-z ,ya you right what you are saying and no matter what i love been a gooner and always will' but mr. wenger has it right,i trust him he has arsenal in his heart and he care about where the club is are going and he will get us there too.and donn't the jewel in the crown players coming though he is giving a chanceto and they are might hunger to prove themselves ,we will do great this season cann't wait and they cannt say we boring either ha ,ha from foxy

  5. hes a sack ov @#$% anyway,one good season and hes worth 30million?the way arsenal were playing for the first half ov the season and the chances they were creating they cud have had titus bramble upfront and he wud have banged them in.wat adebatyor do towards the end ov the season when the pressure started?faded away.he fluffed a great chance to knock liverpool out of the champions league too in the secong leg.if u can get 30m for him id sell him and get villa,etoo or even peter crouch.

  7. This story of Ade is enough. It is better Arsenal do away with him. That he scored 30 goals last time doesn't mean he is the best player in Arsenal. Flamini who fought tooth and nail had gone and we didn't lose a sleep, why will Arsenal lose sleep if Ade toll same path. I prefer we let him go anywhere, even if it is Chelsea as its being speculated. Ade is a good player, sure, but he can't hold Arsenal, my darling club, to ransom. Henry left and people started having the worst fears that Arsenal the start of Arsenal's fall had begun, yet that was the start of Arsenal's rise. If Ade goes, just as Ade put upon himself to do what Henry was doing for the club, so other players will do too. Another issue is new signing. I am yet to hear Wenger has brought in new face. I am tired of "Arsenal is interest in" withut tangibly making a move to sign. Good players abound from Euro 08 where Wender actively participated as TV commentator or waht. He saw all the good players live. How many has he gone for to buy. We Arsenal fans are yet to see new faces. Aaron Ramsey, Carlos Vela (who is now has work permit to play for Arsenal, Samir Nasri are not big names to challenge where names like Ballack, Esien, Terry, Gerard, Tores, Ferdinand, Vidic, etc are. We need big names that will challenge when the chips are down. We need big HOLDING MIDFIELDER in and above the mould of Flamini who just left for AC. Player like Sena in Spain's squad. In fact Wender should go for Sena.

Hom do you think will want to come if you know a competing team can pay three times Arsenal. that is how we lost the likes of , Babel,E'to to mention but afew how long can we wait??? What is money a wage structure is something that can be adjusted. Its men who made it isn't it???. How then is it difficult to change???? Arsenal should fight to keep its best player now

It can go by increasing wage of players or letting the best players go and look for others. The question I want your reaction to is this, what sacrifice are you willing to accept.     Is it not enough?
    It is tame excuse.
    All he want is new contract with huge wage rise. Another Cashely Cole.
    Let's sell him.
    If he wants to him, so be it. There is no point to keep someone who don't want to stay.
