Reading coach Kevin Dillon is sure the club's top stars will not be distracted by reports linking them with moves back to the Premier League.Nicky Shorey, James Harper, Dave Kitson, Kevin Doyle and Stephen Hunt have all been linked with moves back to the top flight following the Royals' relegation last season.

But Dillon was keen to stress that he expects the players to act professionally as transfer speculation rages.

With regards to Shorey's rumoured exit, Dillon told the Reading Evening Post: "Nicky is a top professional who has played for his country and has a top reputation in the game. I can guarantee he will come in this week and give 100%."

He continued: "To be perfectly honest, they are all contracted to the club, as am I, as is Steve Coppell.

"We've got to go into pre-season and be professional, as we always have been."
