Flying Scot Stuart Easton is aiming to take his maiden victory in his home round of the British Superbike Championship at Knockhill in Fife this Sunday.
The Hydrex Honda rider has put together a string of strong performances this season, including five podium placings.
"I can't wait to get there. It is my home round and I hope that all the Scottish fans will come and get behind me," said Easton.
"The last time the fans had a Scottish winner was probably Steve Hislop so if I can replicate that then of course I would be celebrating with them.
"If I can pull it off I will be buying everyone a drink."
Easton's team-mate Karl Harris is also chasing a long overdue victory after putting together a couple of second placings already.
The Hydrex Honda duo will face a tough challenge from Airwaves Yamaha riders Leon Camier and James Ellison. The duo head to Fife after a tough weekend of wildcard action in the World Superbike series, in which both riders crashed heavily.
Camier has dominated this season, picking up eight victories out of the 10 races, including three daily doubles. Ellison meanwhile has picked up one victory and is 55 points behind his team-mate, but just 22 points clear of Easton.
Elsewhere, HM Plant Honda are likely to be challening at the front of the grid. Josh Brookes has settled into the groove, with three third placings in the last three races, and will use his experience in the World Supersport to learn this tight, short circuit which he is racing for the first time.
Brookes's team-mate Glen Richards has strong form at Knockhill, while Michael Rutter will be at his most determined to secure strong results as he continues to deputise for the injured Sylvain Guintoli aboard the Worx Crescent Suzuki. Ian Lowry, riding Relentless Suzuki, will also add to the thrills at the sharp-end.
Also expected to go well are Simon Andrews aboard the MSS Colchester Kawasaki, John Laverty on the Buildbase Kawasaki, the Motorpoint Henderson Yamaha in the hands of Chris Walker and Jon Kirkham riding the North West 200 Coca Cola Zero Yamaha.
