Eurosport - Fri, 03 Jul 07:25:00 2009

Franck Ribery has confirmed he wants to leave Bayern Munich - but only to join Real Madrid.

FOOTBALL Franck Ribery Bayern Munich 2009 - 0

Ribery's compatriot Karim Benzema has already agreed to join the Spanish giants from Lyon and become Real's third major signing after Brazil's Kaka and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I have made up my mind, I want to leave," Ribery told L'Equipe. "It will be Real (Madrid) or nothing."

Bayern officials have repeatedly said the 26-year-old Ribery, who joined them in 2007 from Marseille, was not for sale.

  4. indonoob. Everyone in Spain knows how madrit has created its "history" over the years. I guess that you speak spanish. Así que teclea tres w, punto, youtube, com, barra, watch?v=fxwjh-S1CQY, y después tres w, punto, youtube, com, barra, watch?v=IaGqZnNWXQs. I think with that for the moment is enough for you. I´ll explain to you in the future how madrit “sold” its training ground to get a huge amount of money, and many other things…

  5. were is Ribery going to play in goal? Jesus they have bought everyone except Messy. Man La Liga is going to be pretty boring this year reduced to 2 games Real v Bacca, Bacca V Real. Real have had so many management problems they have removed the need for a manager just buy all the oppositions best players.

  6. "Man utd are like an old OAK tree in an English field, tall and strong with deep roots and wide branches. The tree is taller and stronger than the others around it because it has been through good as well as harsh times which has both toughened and nourished it to make it stronger, resilient and majestic.
Madrid however is like a grown oak tree that has been re-planted in the desert. This tree cost a fortune to buy and plant and needs constant watering and attention to keep it alive costing ever more bucket loads of cash. However because the tree is in a false location after a year it begins to wilt requiring ever more bucket loads of cash to stop it withering. About the second year the has wilted and starts to die. \A new tree is sought to replace this one and so it goes on ad infinitum.

Moral is that you cannot buy class, tradition or respect these are all part of maintaining continuity and being in touch with your environment."

i like the last phrase... you can't buy class, tradition or respect

well... Real Madrid are the classiest club and the most respected one in the world and
what tradition are you talking about at Man Utd? the last 10-15 years? =)))...
you're such a sucker man utd fan, Real is everything manchester wants to be!
You like a stupid club, playing with Berbatov and selling Tevez, a so much better striker.

  9. nd by the way, you know how they paid off the debt the last time Perez’s was president and the had 250million of debt? By selling off the club’s training ground for £298m to the city council. Good job mate, sound business model. cause you know, anytime you want more funds just sell the training ground again - oh no wait, we dont have one, damn, out debt is rising again - for the last few year and now stands at 500million euros.
Good thing is though, this time, he managed to secure a credit line with Catalan bank, La Caixa. Against the backdrop of mounting bad loans for Spanish banks and limited access to credit for businesses, one has to marvel that Real Madrid has sponsors lining up to facilitate their transfer orgy in th shape of banks with liquidity problems who cant give out mortgages, yet can dish out money to perez the diddy cause he knows theyre not really a

  10. The simple matter for you mate is to stop living in the past and start looking at what is happening just now. Im not making this up, this is all true (i even 'promise' - look it up for yourself) The Spanish savings bank Caja Madrid admitted that it has agreed to give Real Madrid a €76m (£64m) loan to be secured on two unnamed sources of collateral. Madrid are also understood to have a similar deal in place with Banco Santander. Real have spent in excess of €160m to bring Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and Kaka from Milan. Ok? FACT. good. Caja Madrid's board of directors approved the loan on Monday. A source at the bank, which is the fourth-biggest in Spain, added that a similar deal had been approved by Santander, the bank that extended a credit line to the previous president, Ramón Calderón, as he tried to sign Ronaldo last summer. Santander itself has not commented.
and heres the good bit mate - Despite the announcement, however, Real are seeking to prevent the fees they are forced to pay from spiralling out of control and Caja Madrid refused to reveal what the money would be used for. this is because they have pressure put on them not to disclose the details of what madrid owe them and also to not push to get the money back. See, the old dude in charge Calderón insisted that he had left the club with €91m in its coffers. Added to the two loans, that would give Madrid a total of €243m and Florentino Pérez, the new president at Real, is also believed to have the backing of the Catalan savings bank La Caixa, which provided the formal €57m deposit-guarantee he needed to stand for the presidency. According to one recent report, however, Madrid's debt is an estimated €500m and they are determined to raise money by offloading players this summer.

  13. Real are just raising another galactico era of failure. having world class superstars or Players does not guarantee success. Those players rushing to go to real madrid are probably just interested in money and not playing the game. coz they will definately be fighting for first team appearance which they wont even start some games. Go on ribery and increase the congestion. LOL

  14. Maybe Madrid aren't ine debt now (which I find very hard to believe) but are the Madrid fans here honestly saying that Madrid (or any company for that matter) can spend nearly all of it's (supposed) gigantic revenues on players and not have to borrow?! Am... Where are those stupidly high wages getting paid from then?! That @#$% Perez is obviously getting a big fat paycheck for himself and his "buddies" Kaka and Ronaldo!

Oh, and real rofl, as usual, its right, they can\t go bust, hey, when they are abt to , like same time as barca, barca had to fight their way back... but real hey... sold their \traning facility\ to the govt for a stupendous amount ofmoney, and then bought galacticos thingy whilst we had to just rebuild. But ah well.. at least know, only the lowly like real, and the noble love barca :)

  17. I can just see a real clash of personalities at Real Madrid.
And its all full or horrible, greedy, cheating footballers.
Football is well and truly ruined. No wonder those of us that appreciate proper football prefer to watch non-league. The brainwashed prefer to watch money-go-round with their "hero's" coming and going. Pathetic.
