New Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out allowing striker Didier Drogba to leave.
The Ivory Coast striker, handed a ban by UEFA following his outburst after the Champions League semi-final defeat to Barcelona, has been linked with a move to Internazionale and a reunion with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
However, Ancelotti insisted: "Now I have Drogba in my team and he will be staying."
He told Italian Radio Deejay: "I will not sell him to Mourinho."
Elsewhere, striker Andriy Shevchenko is reported to be considering an offer to join his old Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev.

I have a feeling ancelloti will do well for chelsea.Keeping drogba is good decision from the current manager.Commom guys top clubs dont sell their best players and he happens to be one arguably the best striker in the premiership.Commom bring on real madrid to stamford bridge, and we will teach them a lesson.
when he is in good form he could be the one of the best striker in the world
better then trannie torres
but still not as good as rooney
If wee want a good Midfielder and not so expensive, but I'm not sure wee cant sign him that midfielder is Stephen Ireland. He is thecnique he has a good shooting and he have evrithing to be the next frank Lampard
maybe we should go for a quality striker like Owen,PMSL
KTBFFH
Yes they need on,options pato, dzeko, aguero, villa but they all cost a lot, hope they still buy for abramovichs oil money
Yes The Blues need a quick, sharp, goal scorer like Villa.
Bring back Jimmy Greaves.
They also need a really creative midfielder in the Javi, Inesta mould.
Deco would have been brilliant 5/6 years ago.
Some REAL pace up front would be an asset
We need Sergio Ageuro (but not at daft money!) and just a tad more creativity in mid field. When we lose the league it's down to a couple of things 1 Essien injured 2 Joe Cole injured 3 Drogba being stropy. If Roman wants it he can get it good replacements/backup for these players and its in the bag. I'd never sign pirlo this late in his career but talk of Ruud Van N going for 1.5mil wtf take him with both hands man city were willing to pay well over the odds for him at Jan (30mil I heard) he is proven and could link well with anelka. Kalu is a player we should keep his tally may not be huge but we always seem to need the goals these days. I woulda loved to see Kaka at the bridge but a good prospect would actually be steve davis at rangers a great player that I think could get in any top 4 team in a couple of seasons
ofcourse.. Drogba is banned for 4 games.. so another quality striker is a must..
Absolutely, you can't rely on just Drogba, Anelka, Sturridge, and Kalou to win you trophies can you, you need more strikers, Dzeko would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea, their attacking force would be complete then.
Of couse we need another striker...... A great team needs 4 in the squad to able to mount a serious challenge on all fronts.... Chels for at east 3 trophies this season.. Man U / Scousers for zero.........
To retain Drogba certainly is a bad news for our opponents. But we need to bring in 1 or 2 replacement for him n anelka as replacement for long term.
Not to mention he can't play in the Champs League :-)
Drog will stop trying in December because he doesn't want to be injured for the African cup, then 2 weeks training camp, 4 weeks of the tournament, 2 weeks holiday to recover plus any extras for injury.....
I'm glad he's staying with Chel$ki!
when this guy is fit he is a threat to score every game he is in. of course everyone wants him out of england because they dont want him to torment their little defenders. drogs is back and he's hungry for goals
Kudos to Ancelotti for retaining Drogba. The truth remains that Drogba is a threat to defenders at the EPL. No wonder, fans of Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal want to see his back at the Premiership. I am convinced that Drogba, baring any injuries, is going to be a hit in the upcoming season as he has always been. He is an integral member of Chelsea and therefore, have a strong part to play in Chelsea's bid to reclaim the PEL title. Sorry, to those useless contributors, who instead of commenting on the subject, choose to dwell on name calling. You should be disappointed as Drogba is going nowhere. Your teams should get prepared to be bashed by Chelsea, Drogba leading the way. Blues for ever
Drogs is a dirty player and what happened in the Champions League was what he deserved after years of diving when people breath on him.
DROG,the tormentor. A strike defender fear to face.
Beware of the Drog - the diver!!!!!!!
All eyes will on him.
Thanks for the warning
DROGTURD IS A DISGRACE TO THE PREMIERSHIP
beware of the drog! the next golden boot winner
