Comment 1 - 10 of 10
So, there were 20 teams at the presentation then?... I only saw 7 on Eurosport, I was starting to fear a much depleted peleton this year!
Comment no 8 - Dan martin is not in - great shame but good to see his cousin Nicholas Roche is there.
great to see Dan Martin in the garmin line up. can't wait to see how he gets on in the alps , defo one to watch for the future(if he can improve his time-trailing)
Just noticed, only eight riders listed for Skil. Is this a mistake or is there a pronlem?
Basso is not at the Tour as Liquigas broke the gentlemen's agreement between teams and signed him two years early after his ban. The decision to omit him from the line-up is more a political one and saves any awkwardness between them and the other pro-tour teams and [of course] ASO who have hinted on a number of occasions that he would not be welcome this year. He'll be back next year though, with a more realistic chance of a podium after a seasons racing in his legs. This year it'll be a proper challenge for the Vuelta.
Basso said he was not ready for the Tour as the the Giro took alot out of him.
basso is doing tour of spain
No Basso? what the?
Can someone tell me why Basso is out?
cocaine has a similar effect to speed, it numbs your perception of pain and limitations of physical and mental abil;ities are extended. I liek the boonan and the Paris Roubaix win was awesome but he has a problem and need to be clean.
