Burton boss Paul Peschisolido has confirmed he has made a bid for Kidderminster midfielder Russell Penn.
Harriers chairman Barry Norgrove claimed earlier this week he wants at least £50,000 for the 23-year-old, but Albion have now tested the water with a firm offer.
Peschisolido told the club's official website: "Russell Penn is a player we are interested in.
"We have made an offer to Kidderminster Harriers for him and at this moment we are waiting for a response from them."
