Dan deal for Blues

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of promising young striker Daniel Sturridge on a four-year deal after his contract expired at Manchester City.

The two clubs could not agree a fee for the 19-year-old, his age means City are entitled to some recompense, and will be settled by a tribunal.

Sturridge, nephew of former Derby forward Dean, made 26 appearance for City last season, scoring four times.

The England Under-20 forward will now join up with the rest of the first-team squad when they return for the start of pre-season training next week.

Hey you chelsea boy's 3-4 years ago you were buyin­ up all the best player's, sounds like sour grapes­ to me that MCFC are the big boy's now with Shed­ loads of money ,jst watch this space and enjoy the­ Citizens as they show you it's jst not you who as­ got money to spend,thats why Robiniho did not join you­ ,he saw what was being built at MCFC and wanted to be­ part of it.
