Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has targeted a sixth striker for the club in the hope that plenty of forwards will guarantee goals next season.
Forest signed David McGoldrick and Dele Adebola earlier this week to add to Robert Earnshaw, Joe Garner and Nathan Tyson, who were already at the club, and the former Derby boss has asked the board to sanction the purchase of one more striker.
Davies told the Nottingham Evening Post: "They are the ones that fire you to the top of the league. We have five and I would still like another one.
"The board know that and have been very supportive to the suggestions I have made over the last couple of weeks.
"We have to make sure we don't need to play Nathan Tyson three times in a week. We have to make sure Robert Earnshaw does not do that."

Replacement for Ian Breckin I mean.
I hope it's Blackstock too. I like him. Would still like to see Gunter and some other signings for the back and midfield as well. No Ian Breckin is a worry.
that sounds like a good strikeforce to me! i think dexter blackstock will be the 6th striker.
