Brendan Rodgers will meet his players and staff in the next few days to outline his "world class" vision for the future as manager of Reading.
The former Watford boss has an untraditional approach to management and therefore is meeting everyone at the club, to be sure they are aware of the expectations on them.
The 36-year-old told the club's official website: "These meetings are a case of me presenting my vision to the people I will be working with every day. I'm very much about open communication. It's no good me knowing where we are going if nobody else does.
"This is about defining the standard that is required. What I'am bringing here is a world class model of work. People think that being world class is about money, but it isn't, it's about the standards you work to.
"I will outline the standard and then we will go to work and work well."
