Gary Waddock has urged his trialists to earn themselves a contract at Aldershot when they get the chance to play in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The Shots will make the trip to Alton Town with a squad largely made up of out-of-contract players, and Waddock is set to give them all a chance to impress.
"There will be plenty of players on show at Alton Town. It is important for the players that we are going to bring in," Waddock told the club's official website.
"It is as simple as stating that this is their chance to impress. They have to show that they are good enough to earn something here but only time will tell.
"For those that show something they will be asked back to play at Camberley Town on Tuesday evening. To be fair most of the lads will play 45 minutes due to the heat and the fact that they will not be as well prepared as our lads who have been in training. The ball is in their court in what they can achieve."
