Former England seamer Andrew Caddick is to retire from all cricket at the end of the season.
The 40-year-old played 62 Tests taking 234 wickets at 29.91 and also claimed 69 victims in 54 one-day internationals. He is eighth in the list of all-time England Test wicket-takers.
Caddick has been a consistent performer with Somerset since his last international appearance in 2003 and was the leading English wicket-taker in 2007, but injuries plagued him for much of last season and the beginning of this one.
He bows out having taken 1,175 first-class wickets with career-best figures of nine for 32.

A fond farewell to the big man and best wishes for the future
haha he's got a funny run up
Why was Caddick jettisoned from the England setup so prematurely. The moody big-eared one had a lot still to offer. Still, enjoy retirement.
Thanks for the memories Big Ears, and all the best.
