Glasgow have handed league debuts to three of their summer signings for Friday night's Celtic League opener against champions Munster.
The all-Scottish trio of scrum-half Chris Cusiter (pictured), centre Peter Murchie and wing Rob Dewey did enough in last Friday's final pre-season friendly against Wasps to be given the nod.
Head coach Sean Lineen said: "We have three quality scrum-halves and Chris has made a huge impact since he arrived here over the summer. I can't wait to see him perform in the Magners League."
He added: "Rob has shown his scoring potential already and you can see the quality left out of the team as a result, with Hefin O'Hare and DTH van der Merwe challenging for a starting place.
"Peter Murchie is a classic case of a guy taking his chance. He is still learning but his work ethic is first-class and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do against Munster."
Murchie will wear the number 13 jersey, with Scotland centre Max Evans still recovering from knee ligament surgery.
There will also be a first Magners League start for 22-year-old prop Jon Welsh, who is preferred ahead of Canada's Kevin Tkachuk and Samoa's Justin Va'a.
Lineen, who also recalled Johnnie Beattie at number eight, said: "Jon is keeping two international props out of the starting XV.
"He is very young but everything about him is so refreshing because he is so focused on being the best he can be."
