Champions League - Hargreaves in United Euro squad

Owen Hargreaves has been included in Manchester United's Champions League squad.

Midfielder Hargreaves will definitely miss United's opener against Besiktas on Sepetmber 12.

He is not due back from the US until September 23 to step up his rehabilitation work after operations on both knees to cure a career-threatening tendinitis problem that has kept him out for over a year.

In theory, the Canada-born England international would be available for the home encounter with German champions Wolfsburg on September 30.

It is more likely, though, that the former Bayern Munich star will come into contention later in a group that also contains CSKA Moscow.

United's Champions League squad:

  9. Jonnydavies: We can argue all day long. I think Ronaldo­ was great for Man U(us). But on free kick or penalties;­ I think he was given more chances than any other player­ in the Man U squad. In that case, I t will be hard to­ believe that he was the best to deliver free kicks, or­ was simply because he was given more opportunities. But­ I agree that Ronaldo delivered good free kicks and I­ respect ur opinion.
