Barnet manager Ian Hendon is waiting on the fitness of defender Dan Leach before naming his squad to face Northampton on Friday night.

Leach missed the 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Millwall in midweek with an ankle injury and has been sent for a scan.

Should the Australian miss out then Clovis Kamdjo will again partner Ismail Yakubu in the heart of defence.

Assistant manager Gary Breen is still out with a knee problem while left-back Kenny Gillet remains sidelined with his hamstring injury.

John O'Flynn will partner 40-year-old Paul Furlong in attack while captain Micah Hyde will return in midfield after he was rested for the cup win.

Hendon spent 18 months as a player at Sixfields during which time he won promotion out of League Two.
