Magilton tuned in on league form

QPR boss Jim Magilton is confident his side will be focused on their Championship campaign despite the distraction of a Carling Cup trip to Chelsea.

Rangers will travel to their west London neighbours for the mouthwatering third-round tie on September 23. But in the meantime they face league encounters with Peterborough, Crystal Palace and Cardiff.

"It is a great draw for us and one we'll all enjoy," said Magilton. "I know our fans are already looking forward to it and it will provide a welcome distraction from the league campaign.

"Having said that, there's a lot of hard work to be done before we go to Stamford Bridge, we've got three very important league games to deal with first."
