Blackpool suffered a second consecutive away defeat as they slipped to a 4-1 defeat against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles went into the game having not conceded in their previous three matches and made a fine start when Danny Butterfield crossed for Alan Lee to head them in front after three minutes.
Sean Scannell then hit the post for Palace before Neil Danns deservedly doubled their lead when he got on the end of Shaun Derry's superb cross to head home.
Blackpool were given a lifeline shortly after half-time through Alex Baptiste's header, but Darren Ambrose restored Palace's two-goal advantage despite looking suspiciously offside.
In the dying moments Palace's substitutes combined to wrap up the game when Lee Hills crossed from the left and Alassane N'Diaye poked in.

Sorry, joyce2clever, I hadn't realised the significance of Palace scoring in the first half. It was a very good cross and header. It summed up Blackpool's poor form, too.
Well done Palace, see you later in the season.
Sounds to me that you are saying that scoring against Blackpool in the first half is as good as it gets in the championship, joyce2clever. Thanks for raising us to such heights. Personally ,I think Blackpool need to sort out alot of things and I'm not so sure that there aren't a good number of teams as good as Palace (or Blackpool for that matter) in the championship.
Up the 'Pool!
Nice One !
An excellent result. Very pleased.
Scoring in the first half is good for you Palace this result proves you can compete with all teams in the Championship. If that pathetic decision at Bristol City had not been made the lads would be on the fringe of the play off places. So go to it and keep the results coming.and climb up the table.
