Old boy haunts Wanderers

Scott McGleish returned to haunt his old club with a late header at Adams Park as Orient beat Wycombe 1-0.

The 35-year-old striker rolled back the years to nod in substitute Adrian Patulea's cross in the 77th minute, ending Orient's run of three straight losses on the road.

The hosts had the better of a scrappy first half with Os goalkeeper Jamie Jones saving well from and Chris Zebroski, while Matt Harrold and Michael Duberry were both narrowly off target with headers.

Jones produced a brilliant full-stretch diving save to deny Zebroski once again before McGleish struck.

Harrold's 85th minute header was cleared off the line by Ben Chorley but the visitors held on.
