Carlo Ancelotti insists Chelsea must put thoughts of Manchester United to one side and give their sole focus to toppling Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Chelsea top the Premier League and face champions United on Sunday, but they can book their place to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a win over Atletico and that is the priority for Acelotti.
"Usually all the people think about the game against Manchester United but we have another important game during the week and we want to prepare well," said Ancelotti.
"It is very easy to prepare for Manchester United because it is a very important match, but we need to maintain concentration in the Champions League at this moment."
Ancelotti has passed Ashley Cole fit to face Atletico following three games out with a knee problem.
"Ashley is ready to play," said Ancelotti. "Yesterday he trained and we will monitor his progress again tonight but he is good to play."
Didier Drogba comes into contention after serving the final game of a three-match suspension.
Atletico face a key week in their season, as the game with Chelsea is followed by the Madrid derby against Real.
"It would give us a lifeline in both competitions and would also be positive for the players from a psychological perspective," said coach Quique Sanchez Flores.
"But Chelsea are difficult opponents in every department and to beat them we'll have to be at 100 percent."

i must have a stutter
chelsea's momentum will end in 5 days by us :P
Im a chelsea fan and im not so sure tonight,s game is going to be easy then everybody think,s , i think athletico will be tougher then united on sunday for the simple reason that athletico hav not won a match in a while and under a new coach they will be gunning for a win which could be dangerous if chelsea go in to it to over confident , on the other hand the game on sunday will be a win for chelsea , id put my house on it .. man united hav won there last match so will prob hav the confidence to attack chelsea at stamford bridge which as everyone no,s is a pritty bad idea especially from the way chelsea are playing at the mo , i predict a 3-1 score line on sunday to chelsea and i only think there will be one goal in it tonight maybe 2-1 to chelsea .... CHELSEA FOR THE E.P.L AND C.L
if things go well during the game both CHELSEA n man u will make changes with the clash comming up on sunday
if things go well during the game both CHELSEA n man u will make changes with the clash comming up on sunday
paul winning or loosing on sunday doesnt matter much for me .but we will still be the english champions .hope our injured players make it till sunday
Realistically Chelsea have a better chance of winning the EPL this season. Remember no clubs have ever won it four on the trot so history is not with ManUnited. But it's good because they're not under great pressure. Still it's quite worrying to see them scrapping wins this season. Hope things will improve and hopefully it'll start this weekend at the bridge. Go ManUnited.
come on chelse beat utd then it's jingle bells all the way to the title....
No more Manualdo ! Utd look very ordinary these days , beatable ! even struggling Liverpool beat them ! & they are visiting the Bridge Errr Hello !
THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE GOAL IN THE cHELSEA/MAN U match.definitely not an own goal.
The scorer will be.... wait a minute..Darren Fletcher. remember him? wait and see..
Chelsea will win tonight 3-0 i think :)
"Chelsea not thinking about United".....
Damn right, because they're not even worth thinking about anymore LoL.
christopher....you dream on son...win or loose it doesnt matter, theres a long way to go and the way utd are playing, unless you live on another planet, you can see they are struggling. they may win on sunday, which i seriously doubt, but as for winning the league me thinks its a no no. i rekon chelsea 1st then arsenal, utd spurs and possibly liverpool.
"It is very easy to prepare for Manchester United" lol r u serious ?!? we(united) will win on sunday by a goal (1-0 or 2-1)
stuartxland...the "great" united have scrapped wins all season and look a second rate team.....they will struggle this year, you will have top battle to keep second place at the end of the season
not botherd if chelsea win or loose against united on sunday. Chelsea have far too much depth adn talent which will show over the whole season. so regardless of win or loose i really think this is going to be chelsea's season. Arsenal probably more of a threat and the liverpool are out of nit all ready i think.
Easy GAme for Man Utd on Sunday GGMU
Ancelotti is right, its not all about United
chelsea wins tonight 2 - 0
Chelsea are playing well but that will all end on sunday....GGMU!
