WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev said he was unfazed by David Haye's pre-fight antics after the challenger switched hotels on Tuesday calling the choice of the organisers a "rancid lair".
Haye, who takes a 21-1 record into the bout with the 'Beast from the East' in Nuremberg on Saturday, said on his blog the German promoters had booked him a hotel where he would catch "guaranteed Black Death".
Organisers said they had booked the Briton into one of the leading hotels in the city and could not understand what his complaints were about.
"I don't care whether he can sleep or not and I don't really care what hotel he stays in," Russian Valuev said.
"I am really looking forward to Saturday night when I will meet him in the ring and defend my title. I cannot wait to land a few heavy blows on him."
Standing at seven foot and weighing two pounds short of 23 stone, Valuev is the tallest and heaviest world champion of all time. He has yet to be floored or knocked out in his 16-year professional career, with only one defeat in 50 bouts.
Haye, who has previously called Valuev "the ugliest thing I have ever seen", is a former world cruiserweight champion. He is aiming to become Britain's first heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis retired six years ago.

lol... lol...lol.. what can I say? Hip! Hip! Hooray! Well done David Hay. ''British boxers are rubbish''. What a ridiculous thing to say
british boxers rubbish lol , how many yanks did calzaghe waste
Haye MUST knock Valuev out. The Holyfield fight proved that you can totally outclass Valuev and beat him easily but the judges score Valuev the winner. The fact it's in Germany says it all to me. The judges may as well have "Team Sauerland" written on their suits. Holyfield easily won that fight but still lost. Knock his huge head off Haye. It's about time someone gave the Heavyweight division so dignity back.
The problem is that Valuev, inspite of his size can't hurt a fly (he doesn't have a punch). Everyone knows that. If he doesn't catch Haye cold, Haye may indeed win on points, after which he might expect a decent contract with Vitali Klitschko. Unfortunately for him, Dr. Steelhammer will knock him out clean and that is the end of ... Solomon Grundy. Friedrich Welke, Florianopolis, Brazil
Haye will beat "the beast from the East" within 9 rounds.
I believe Hayes hand speed will be key, fast heavy blows early on will be critical to Hayes sucess.
I've been to the bookies and stuck £50 notes on Haye stopping him before round 10.
C'mon David deck the big ugly bruiser and bring the belts back to England.
pwilson can't see it going the distance m8 think Haye will blow him away or become exhausted with the size disparity and get ko'd himself in the later rounds,my money on the little guy though

Did you actually take time to read all the posts up until the point of posting(I didn't think so) go over them again and you will find there's only one person living in a fantasy world and he ain't british.
Mind we once had a king in Richard the Third!!!
that russian guy is a beast.
he went 7 rounds with a broken jaw and he still won the fight.
i feel sorry for hayes he needs to prepare and FAST.
go boy
Criss Areola wasted Vitali Klitschko another beast from the east! Haye you aont got a hope in hell son. Sorry, British fighters are useless! Put lennox lewis against Tyson in his prime and he would have been wasted like bruno was!
Every ones writing the beast of already! Ahh the British fantasy world! Reminds me of Bruno vs Tyson! I would love Haye to win but it aint gonna happen! Time to step out of the fantasy world into reality! Look at the Beasts record! All he has to do is land one blow and Haye will be in a comma! Just be careful Haye and don't get to cocky! the balance of power has shifted to the east! These Russians etc are the new breed son!
It's the only feasable ploy Jack, it truly is a david and goliath affair.Haye is by far technically the better fighter, but the beast has something unrivalled in boxing(you've only got to look at the weigh in, toe to toe) He must hurt him hard early on in the nuts, then concentrate on landing a couple of rounds in the basket area, making him uneasy
He must also be in very tight to him whilst doing all this, then he can windmill him over the top to the Shirley, and it dont matter if your Seventeen foot tall, if a world heavy weight cracks you in the temple your out, especially if he is hitting up as well.
Saying all this though, Haye has only got one realistic game plan which limits him considerably.I wont be suprised though if it goes the distance.
I am old to enough to remember a young boxer with no real reputation who stepped into the ring
against a Giant with a fearsome reputation, in a fighte beamed over the Atlantic for the first time ever, watched
with my Dad on our little 14inch Black and White TV. He boobed, he weaved, he danced, the Giant couldn't hit him, it was the Giant who was felled! That man is arguably the greatest boxer of all time and his initials were
CMC -- anyone got it?? Cassius Marcellus Clay -- the grandson of a Slave --now better known as the Great Muhammed Ali! Yes, it is true, size is not everything!
PWilson not sure the Marquee of Queensbury would agree with your plan but I do,good call, get his guard low,he'd get away with the 1st low blow due the size difference
Recently, I found an age-gap site called ~~~ Agegapmingle--C O M ~~~ It's a nice and free place for Younger Women and Older Men, or Older Women and Younger Men, to interact with each other. Age gap is not problem there. You may check out or tell your friends.
Haye, knock him dead. YOU CAN DO IT !
Haye!!!
Many wishes for U buddy....Ya just keep concentrate on Saturday....Don't worry about other things innay.... Big fella get tired early....Show good defence.....Bless U
