Arsenal defender Gael Clichy has been ruled out for up to a month with a suspected stress fracture in his back.
Meanwhile, midfielder Tomas Rosicky returns to the squad for Wednesday's Champions League clash against AZ Alkmaar at Emirates Stadium following a knee problem.
Striker Nicklas Bendtner (groin), goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski (thigh), Theo Walcott (knee), Denilson (back) remain sidelined.

Another injury and to think that it's only Liverpool and Spurs that have anyone injured if you believe the @#$% on here and the newspapers....
Its a blow for us, but i belive gibbs can also deliver, he is an interesting youngster.
I only hope denilson come back on time, with diaby fumbling week in week out. Go gunners
don't rush clichy back, we need him. we have a good back up in gibbs, but clichy is the best and one of the best in the premiership. clichy must rest and come back 100% fit and ready to go
