Craddock ready for Us cup clash

Mon 03 Dec, 12:30 PM

Wolves defender Jody Craddock is excited at the prospect of facing former club Cambridge United in the third round of the FA Cup.The 32-year-old began his career with the Us and, despite their non-league status, the former Sunderland centre-back admits he will not be taking the opposition lightly.

He told Wolves' official website: "It's always nice to come up against one of your old clubs although it's a good few years since I played for them.

"I was sorry when they dropped out of the Football League a couple of years ago but they are looking good at the minute near the top of their division.

"Someone told me that they have only lost one game so far this season which isn't bad going at any level.

"But we certainly won't be taking things for granted when we play them - I'm looking forward to it."
