Leeds centre Anitela Tuilagi has been suspended until Boxing Day for striking during his side's 29-6 Guinness Premiership defeat to Leicester.
A Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing tonight imposed a four-week ban, which was backdated to start on November 28 - four days after the incident - when Leeds handed down an internal suspension.
Tuilagi will be available for Leeds' Premiership clash with Sale on December 30 but misses two European Challenge Cup ties against Calvisano and a league trip to Bath.
