Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Internazionale, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven have all shown interest in signing forward Mitrovic, but Borg told Sportbladet that the 16-year-old talent wants to move to Chelsea.

"We are in negotiations with Chelsea at the moment, but nothing has been decided yet," Borg said.

"I don't want to comment on any transfer fees."

Mitrovic, who has been likened in the Swedish press to compatriot Zlatan Ibrahimovic and current Stamford Bridge star Didier Drogba, said that he is ready to move to west London.

"I am very flattered. I played in their junior team twice last summer and I guess they liked what they saw", he said.

"I am ready for this. My family supports me in everything I do and it looks like I'm going to England."
