Individual silver for Houvenaghel
Wendy Houvenaghel won her second medal in 24 hours as she claimed individual pursuit silver at the track cycling World Cup in Cali, Colombia.
Houvenaghel, second at the Beijing Olympics behind Rebecca Romero, joined forces with Paralympic gold medallist Sarah Storey and Laura Trott to win the women's team pursuit gold - her target event for London 2012 after the individual pursuit was scrapped.
But New Zealand's Alison Shanks comfortably beat Houvenaghel in their individual final while Ukraine's Kalitovska Lesya took bronze.
Trott lies fifth after three events in the women's omnium, placing fifth in the flying lap, fourth in the points race and 11th in the elimination race.
