Notts County have lured Nottingham Forest's promising starlet Felix Bastians to Meadow Lane on an initial month-long loan deal.The youngster had just returned from a three-month spell with League Two rivals Chesterfield and is expected to make his debut against Stockport on Saturday.

It is the fifth time the Germany Under-19 international has been loaned out by the Reds, having previously spent time with Northwich, Halifax and Gillingham before his 13 appearances for the Spireites earlier this season.

McParland told the club's official website: "I know Felix well from my time at the City Ground and I think he can do a job for us - especially as Myles Weston is having more problems with his hamstring.

"He's a good footballer who has apparently done very well during his time at Chesterfield, and he will give us another option."
