Brown to tinker with Tigers team

Fri 04 Jan, 01:46 PM

Hull manager Phil Brown is expected to rest two or three of his senior players for the FA Cup third round tie with Plymouth. After completing the busy festive fixture programme Brown could leave out some of his first-team regulars such as Dean Windass, Ian Ashbee and David Livermore for the clash with the Pilgrims.

Brown will definitely be without striker Frazier Campbell who is still out with his hamstring injury picked up against Sheffield Wednesday.

The on-loan Manchester United youngster missed the 1-1 draw with Stoke on New Year's Day and it is not yet known how long he faces on the sidelines.

The Tigers have already come unstuck against the Pilgrims in the league this season, losing 3-2 at the KC Stadium, but Brown will be buoyed by their recent run of good form which has seen them go five games unbeaten.
