Craddock to miss Cambridge return

Fri 04 Jan, 02:45 PM

Manager Mick McCarthy is expected to leave out Andy Keogh and Jody Craddock for Wolves' FA Cup third round tie with Cambridge United.Keogh has been struggling with a chest injury over the festive period and was forced off during the disappointing goalless draw with Sheffield United so is likely to sit out against the Blue Square Premier outfit.

Keogh's absence could pave the way for a return to the starting XI up for Freddy Eastwood, who has not started since the 2-0 defeat at Hull on Boxing Day.

Former Cambridge defender Craddock, meanwhile, is set to miss the clash with his former employers due to a calf strain picked up in training.

Midfielder Elliott Bennett has returned to Molineux after his loan deal at League One side Crewe expired, but is ineligible for the tie as he played for the Railwaymen in the competition.

Kick-off: 2pm
