Bradford boss Stuart McCall will have to wait for the results of a scan before determining the extent of Mark Bower's knee injury.The Bantams boss is awaiting results of an MRI scan but an initial examination revealed the injury was not as serious as originally feared.
The experienced defender injured himself warming up before his side's New Year's Day victory over Accrington at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.
McCall told the Telegraph & Argus: "We're waiting to see what the scan says but it doesn't look to be as bad as first thought."
Meanwhile, left-back Paul Heckingbottom, 30, is considering an offer to stay with City after his loan from Barnsley expired following the Accrington game.
"We hope we can get this sorted imminently with Hecky," added McCall.
