Danny Mills will go into straight into the Derby squad for Sunday's FA Cup third-round tie against Sheffield Wednesday at Pride Park.Mills has joined the Rams on loan until the end of the season from Manchester City, with a view to a permanent transfer.

But Paul Jewell still has a severely-depleted squad as he is without Stephen Bywater, Jay McEveley, Dean Leacock, Andy Todd, David Jones, Stephen Pearson, Rob Earnshaw, Andy Griffin and Marc Edworthy.

To add to Jewell's woes, Giles Barnes is doubtful with a hamstring problem and Claude Davis a knee injury, although he is hoping both will be available to face the Owls.
