Blackpool have been handed a boost ahead of the FA Cup clash at Barnsley after Bartosz Slusarski's loan spell was extended by a further month. The West Brom striker joined the Seasiders in November and has scored once in six appearances for Simon Grayson's men.
Albion have a 24-hour recall on the 26-year-old striker, while Grayson should have no other concerns ahead of the Roses clash.
But the Seasiders' out-of-favour striker Keigan Parker looks set to complete a move to Barnsley, though he will not be given permission to feature this weekend even if the move goes through in time.
Grayson has revealed a "couple of players" are struggling with knocks, and is unlikely to risk anyone who is not 100% fit for the clash, with the league remaining his priority.
Star winger Wes Hoolahan looks set to remain at Bloomfield Road for the time being despite speculation linking him with moves to several of Blackpool's Championship rivals.
