Top scorer Jack Lester will miss Chesterfield's home game against Grimsby Town on Saturday through suspension.The 17-goal striker collected his fifth yellow card of the season during the 2-0 win at Barnet and must serve a one-match ban.

Steve Fletcher, who missed the New Year's Day defeat of Wrexham with a knee problem, could make a timely return to fitness to replace Lester.

New signing Michael Barnes is expected to be available for selection following his loan arrival from Manchester United.

The winger would replace Felix Bastians in the squad after the German returned to Nottingham Forest following the end of his loan spell.

Kevin Gray would have been available after serving a three-match ban but the defender looks set to miss out after suffering a minor injury in training.
