Southend boss Steve Tilson will ring the changes for the FA Cup clash against League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge at Roots Hall.Left-back Steven Hammell has fully recovered from his hamstring injury and gives Tilson options in defence.

Fellow defender Che Wilson is also close to returning from his Achilles injury and could feature but new signing Damian Scannell is cup-tied after playing for former team Eastleigh in the preliminary rounds earlier in the season.

On-loan Luton striker Dean Morgan plays the final game of his two-month loan, with Leeds rumoured to be interested in securing his signature.

However, midfielder Mark Gower is struggling with a back injury and is rated doubtful but will be given a late fitness test.
