Premier League - Toure, Adebayor in training row
Tue, 04 Jan 15:17:00 2011
Manchester City's Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor had to be separated by team-mates after fighting during training on Tuesday.
City travel to Arsenal on Wednesday for a match that will be a stern test of their Premier League title credentials, but former Gunners's stars Toure and Adebayor's training ground clash on the eve of the game is not ideal preparation for manager Roberto Mancini.
Another ex-Arsenal player, Patrick Vieira, had to get in between the pair to keep them apart as teams-mates pulled them away from each other.
It is not the first time this season that there has been in-fighting at the club. There have previously been bust-ups between James Milner and Yaya Toure, Mario Balotelli and Jerome Boateng and Carlos Tevez and Mancini.
Mancini will already be without injured duo Mario Balotelli and David Silva for the trip to the Emirates. City, currently joint-top of the table with local rivals Manchester United, have not won away at Arsenal since 1975.

wow ,this is a great article !This is one that I will be getting my hubby
I am a business woman and always so busy ,recent i found a nice club for our singles seeking rich friends and mates , i think -----ageromance c'o'm-----is really a nice place for us, i agree that finding the perfect match isn’t easy, but you will find him or she when the right time comes ...what's the most
important is that you don't have to be a millionaire.but you can meet one there I think everyone need
to meet some miracle!
*%^TYGUDf
Who can be jealous of city's money when you have players who think that they are better than anyone else.
You cannot buy trophy's by buying heathens like Adebayor and Toure (you only have to look at them with Aresenal). Their are too many over paid players at City and that will not bring them success.
Look to Manchester United, do you see any bust ups between their players because one thinks he is better than the others?. An emphatic NO
And the only smell in Manchester, is the smell of success at Old Trafford.
By the way, don't forget the TREBLE, something that City will never succeed in doing.
Nothing will help chelsea they are on the slippery slope. Terrys on his last legs. Probably helped along with his boozing every night. Now is the time we will see if the russian gangster has got fed up with his toys????????????????/
wógs
Smart one Wenger! You got 40million for these two $%@#ers... hahahahaha!
I think their fighting is a plus 4my club CHELSEA bcos i knw they will loose concentration and definately swap position with us....lol
testosterone in overdrive. Gooners now know exactly what buttons to press to get a couple of 'boxers' thrown out the 'ring'
this is a product of overpaid players... good job manhsity and macini
..and let us see if your squad have that strenght-in-depth by beating Arsenal tonight without da Silva and Balotelli..or are you playing mind games, Brian?
Well, what say you Mr. Kidd..I'd rather have a harmonious squad than one full of bickering prickmadonnas. The reality is you and your as-good-as-Sir Alec boss can't instil any form of discipline let alone humility in your squad. But you're stupid enough to let it happen for the benifit of your rivals. THANK YOU!!
toure: my gf @#$% is the bomb
adebayor: no! my gf @#$% is bigger
and they begin fighting
This is what happens when you try to fill a very small pond with big fish!
Sounds like a nice happy ship. Something stinks in the Manchester air, must be Old Trafford.
a TEAM OF HUGE EGOS you can buy top class players , BUT THE COACH IS ON BIG BIG MONEY so it's up to him to sort THE EGOS OUT,
Oh Gary - it has become the new City answer to any criticism.
" Your just jealous of our money !!"
Errr - no we arn't.
Good points Mna.
You cant just "start" a premiership club - so you have to buy one and City were perfect fodder - @#$% players and teetering on the edge of their annual relegation battle (only fit for the scrapheap as a club), but with a sparkling new stadium.
So you buy them for a bargain price and that gets you a ready built new stadium and premiership TV rights.
Living in Manchester, i can tell you that City always have been just a sad joke (and i am not a MANU fan either - so no axe to grind)
I do happen to know quite a few of the proper City fans who have always supported them and many have jacked in their season tickets as they just dont recognise the club anymore as it is an ever changing management and squad and also they hate all the false "history" marketing @#$% - which is actually worse than Manures.
Like i said earlier - Manchester City ceased to exist in 2008. The Arabs took over £300 million of debt so they can develop all the slum wasteland around Eastlands into leisure industries.
Simple as that - they have no interest in football.
#47-ryan what a @#$%
isnt it sad all these so called football fans slagging city off rather than relating their comments to the subject matter . sounds like jealousy to me. come on you blues
never a dull moment at city...go kolo..pmsfl
Any of them walk on the pitch tomorra with a black eye or a caulli ear and I'll say yeah, they had a fight. But in all honesty I still think they will walk onto the park with their ballet shoes still on, doing up their neck scarves while carrying their makeup bags. Couple of overpaid overated old ta rts.
